  "I can't complain. Who would listen?" said the artificially cheerful and unexpectedly wise Walmart cashier who assisted me last night, in response to my generically offered question "How are you?".   Minutes earlier I had been consumed by my own unfortunateness.  AH! When truth smacks me in the face I have no choice but to acknowledge it.  Why should I allow something so insignificant to others as to not be worthy of their even momentary attention, to consume me.
